We offer a fully-equipped holiday home suitable for families, groups or independent travellers. We are situated at the edge of a traditional Asturian village, in the foothills of the Picos de Europa Mountains and close to many local beaches, activities and facilities.
La Rondita is located at the edge of our village, a tranquil and peaceful location. It has its own natural spring and surrounded by orchards and beautiful mountain scenery. The River Sella, famous for its canoeing, salmon and trout fishing, runs close by. The house is detached and has 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people. Bedroom 1 has a double bed. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds plus a folding bed. Bedroom 3, which is in between has a double sofa bed. Access to bedrooms 1 and 2 is through bedroom 3.
It has been sympathetically restored by its English owners who live opposite, and is equipped to ensure your comfort. La Rondita has central heating.
At the rear of the property is a private garden with BBQ. Here you will find a terrace with peaceful and beautiful views across the village and valley. You can walk to a local village (10 mins.) which has a restaurant and bar and the nearest town (Arriondas) is 5 kms drive away. You can walk to river beaches next to the River Sella (5 mins.) for swimming and sunbathing; you don´t even have to get in the car to go to the beach.
This coast offers a variety of different types of beach, whether you prefer surfing or exploring in caves and rock-pools. Beaches here are clean, peaceful and unspoilt. Locally there are many activities on offer for those who enjoy the challenge or tranquillity of the great outdoors :
Walking and hiking, canoeing, quad-biking, paint-balling, caving, surfing, mountain-biking, fishing (salmon and trout are locally available), horse-riding, bird-watching (kites, falcons, vultures and many other birds can be spotted locally).

    “Das Haus liegt in einem winzigen Dorf, ruhig und naturnah. Es ist alt, mit dicken Wänden, daher immer etwas kühl und leicht feucht. Man kann von dort zu vielfältigen Touren aufbrechen ( zu Fuß oder mit dem Auto in die Berge, zum Meer oder Kajakfahren). Uns ist es nie langweilig geworden. Die Vermieter sind super nett und hilfsbereit.”

    “What an absolutely delightful stay. We most immediately fell in love with this charming and exasperating location in Fuentes. La Rondita is the ideal starting point to explore the divine Asturias! We most definitely recommend this well-equipped house providing plenty of space and a very cosy atmosphere. We absolutely loved the sunny terrace in the peaceful garden, overviewing the picturesque hills in front of us.
    Sara and her husband live just across and are very kind to offer advice and secret suggestions for visiting places, such as driving to Ribadesella through Cuevas, making the tour around the whole Picos, taking the train to Oviedo…We loved it!!!!”

    “Ein sehr schönes und sehr gepflegtes, landestypisches Haus mit Allem was man braucht. Ein bisher noch nicht erlebter Service war der wöchentliche Wechsel der in der Vermietung inbegriffenen Bettwäsche und Handtücher. Das sehr freundliche Vermieter-Ehepaar ist sehr hilfsbereit und man erfährt viel über Land und Leute.”
