Zandt is a village with about 800 inhabitants in the Bavarian forest, sourounded from meadows and forest in the natural park "Oberer Bayerischer Wald" - an area of outstanding natural beauty. The holiday flat is situated direct in the village. There you find all shops for your daily needs within 5 minutes by feet. A lot of opportunities for excursions are given in the Czech Republic or to well known points in bavaria like the historic center of Regensburg, which is a World Heritage Site. We recommend also a visit to one of the places for crafted products especially for glas.interior:

    “Beste Reisezeit: Zu jeder Jahreszeit eine Reise wert. Umgebung: Restaurant - Sehr schöner, kleiner Ort. Brötchen auch Sonntags gegenüber im Laden. Sollte jedoch vorher angemeldet werden, für uns gab es leider keine mehr. Natur: Wunderschöne Umgebung mit vielen Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Einkaufen: Nächste Möglichkeit im Cham oder Miltach. Freizeit: Wir haben unter anderem eine Paddeltour unternommen. Sehr zu empfehlen. Empfehlung: Die ganze Familie. Sehr nette Gast-Familie,
    gewöhnungsbedürftig ist die Kirche in direkter Nähe.”

    “Uns hat es trotz des durchwachsenen Wetters recht gut gefallen. Man kann nach Regensburg und anderen schönen Orten fahren und auch prima wandern gehen. Die Wohnung ist auch sehr ordendlich,
    liegt leider direkt an der Straße. Wir sind aber damit zurecht gekommen. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden,
    um sich selbst zu versorgen. Beste Reisezeit: Autumn, winter - Für Skiläufer im Winter,(wenn Schnee liegt). Ansonstenzu jeder Jahreszeit. Umgebung: Restaurant - Kleiner Laden mit recht gutem Angebot, auch Frühstücksbrötchen. Kultur: Museum, historical sites - Im Ort nicht, in Regensburg oder Passau auf jeden Fall. Natur: Forest, lake, mountains - Man kann schön wandern. Beim See weis ich nicht ob man darin baden darf. Einkaufen: Kaum, dazu ist der Ort zu klein,Cham ist 10km enfernt. Da hat man alle Möglichkeiten. Empfehlung: Families, couples, seniors - Auf jeden Fall für 4 Personen gut geeignet. Ausflüge: Regensburg,

    den Großen Arber und andere kleine Orte und Sehenswürdigkeiten angeschaut.”

    “Beste Reisezeit: Winter - Wer Schnee mag und auch lange Spaziergänge liebt ist dort genau richtig, aber auch ein Paradies für Ski- und Schlittenfreunde Umgebung: Supermarket, restaurant, market, tourist office - Gaststätten und Einkaufsmglichkeit direkt daneben, ca. 9km entfernt in Cham großes Gewerbegebiet mit Kaufland und...”

    “Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr geräumig und sehr gut ausgestattet. Alles war sauber und die Einrichtung ist neuwertig. Eine sehr schöne Ferienwohnung mit einem super Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Die lauten Kirchenglocken (Entfernung zur Kirche ca. 10m) sind am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig.”
