Holiday house by a quiet lake, surrounded by a lovely garden

This newly built and renovated (2012) chalet is in Linneryd, just four kilometres from Skillingaryd, a small town with 4000 inhabitants. The nearest larger town is Jönköping (around 90,000 inhabitants), about 25km away.

The house measures around 75m² and has three bedrooms, a bathroom with a WC, and an attic. You enter the house through an open living space, comprising a big and beautiful living room and an open kitchen. The high ceilings and the big windows make the rooms appear larger than they are. If you do not want to enjoy the summer evening on the terrace, there are a dining table with six chairs and a three-seater sofa. The house provides a flatscreen TV, a DVD player and some Swedish and English TV channels. The ar-conditioned living room has lovely double doors opening towards the lake and the terrace. The kitchen has a stove with an oven, a combined fridge-freezer, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, kettle and coffee machine. There are two bedrooms and a sleeping gallery. One bedroom has a double bed (180 x 200cm), the other has a bunk bed with two mattresses (90 x 200cm). A ladder leads up to the attic, which is open towards the living room. The ceiling height is about 1.5m and it has a double bed (210 x 200cm). There is a spacious bathroom with a shower, WC and washbasin. The shower has a 100-litre boiler and the WC is separate.

The terrace stretches along the side facing the lake and around the building to the entrance. It has a table with six chairs and two deckchairs. The table has a big parasol. There is a charcoal grill on the lawn. There is a parking space for at least three cars by the entrance to the house.

There is a neighbouring house nearby. If you open the terrace doors it is just 50 metres down to the lake. The rental price includes use of the owner’s rowing boat. Behind the road there is a gravel track leading to other houses. There is a swimming beach on the other side of the bay, about 2km away, easy to get to by car or by boat.

    “Das Haus ist von der Einrichtung her sehr toll und modern ausgestattet. Jedoch entspricht es nicht ganz der Beschreibung!!! Was leider nicht korrekt ist, war das so genannte 3. Schlafzimmer.     “Die Schlüsselübergabe ist nur über den Vermieter möglich, der ca. 15 Minuten entfernt wohnt. Der Sonnenaufgang über dem See ist ein Traum. Nur wird das Haus sehr schnell aufgeheizt, da keine Möglichkeit da ist, die Fenster im Wohnbereich abzudunkeln. Dafür gibt es aber Klima zum Aufpreis...
