    “Fahrradweg nach Sassnitz führt durch den Buchenwald und stellt eine super Anbindung dar. Für weitere Fahrradtouren benötigt man etwas Kondition, da es im und um den Nationalpark Jasmund etwas bergig ist. Zu Fuß zum Königsstuhl sind 3,5 km. Tipp: Im Sommer nach 19.00 Uhr kommen, dann spart man sich das Eintrittsgeld. In Sassnitz selbst lässt sich prima Fisch essen am Stadthafen beim Kutterfisch. Das Touristikbüro befindet sich links daneben. Fahrradtouren nach Glowe, bishin zu Kap Arkona oder zu den Seebädern lohnen sich allemal. An der Schaabe (zwischen Breege und Glowe) befindet sich der größte Strand der Insel und ist von Hagen auch gut zu erreichen. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind hauptsächlich in Sassnitz und Sagard. In Hagen ist ein kleines Cafè, wo man auch Brötchen von Mittwoch bis Sonntag erhält. Die zentrale Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen, da wir viel mit dem Fahrrad unterwegs waren.”

    “Le vieux Sassnitz est aujourd'hui un petit port de pêche tranquille, sympathique, et très calme; les ferries partent du nouveau port à l'extérieur de la vieille ville.

    Point de départ idéal pour une excusion à pied, ou en bateau, vers les falaises de craie renommées (die Kreideküste), pour une découverte de l'île de Rügen : ses stations balnéaires belle époque (Sellin, Binz, Gôhren), le Kap Arkona, la ville de Stralsund, etc...”
