This cheerful apartment with its rough stone walls and large open kitchen-dining area is beautifully bright continues the colors of Italy's nature inside.

The balcony gives you a wonderful view over vineyards, mountains and forests that you will surely enjoy every free minute.

From your domicile you can go on hikes - with truffle and wine harvesting, if you like. The small town of Montforte D'Alba is located in the middle of one of the largest wine-growing areas in Italy.

Nearby you will find the town of Barolo, which gave its name to the famous wine.

The small municipality of Barolo seems like a sleepy place that has settled down to rest in the warmth and closeness of the valley. In fact, however, there are plenty of beautiful things to see in Barolo. From the medieval castle to vast vineyards, the place convinces with an Italian idyll, culinary highlights and lots of culture.

Of course, it is not only the wine that makes the place a beautiful destination. In Barolo there are also some historical sights like the Castello dell Volta and the corkscrew museum. If you are interested in the wine culture and history of the town, you should not miss a visit to the museum. It is housed in a former wine cellar. More than 500 corks of different origin can be seen in this ambience. After the visit to the museum, it is best to go to the heart of Barolo.
