This farmhouse is set on 3000 m² of grounds and boasts a large swimming pool. It is the perfect place for those looking for privacy, nature and relaxation.
The detached house can accommodate six persons. It comprises of two parts, the finca and the apartment. The finca features two bedrooms with a bathroom each, equipped with a bathtub, toilet and hairdryer, and a comfortably furnished living room with a fireplace. Next to the living room is a dining room also with a fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen. The living room has a television with more than 100 channels and a stereo system. The apartment is virtually underneath the finca. It has a comfortable bedroom, a bathroom with a shower, toilet and hairdryer, and a separate seating area. The apartment enjoys direct access to the swimming pool. All bedrooms are furnished with box-spring beds and airbonditioning. The finca’s two bedrooms are furnished with two single beds each (2 x 90 cm x 200 cm). In the apartment, you will find two single box-spring beds (90 cm x 200 cm) that can be pushed together. All bedrooms have air conditioning by 1 June 2020 at the latest.
From the terraces and the swimming pool you can enjoy breathtaking views across the hills and mountains. The farmhouse is surrounded by oleander, bougainvillea, olive trees, almond trees and cypresses.
The house is located approx. three kilometres away from Cómpeta’s pretty town centre which offers several restaurants, bars, a Saturday market and a few small supermarkets and shops. Cómpeta is a beautiful Andalusian white village. The picturesque village is characterised by its moorish architecture and its small alleys, white washed houses and a beautiful church. The village is set at the foot of the Tejada mountains and Almijara, on the Ruta del Sol y Vino (the route of sun and wine). This area produces the sweet Málaga-wine. You will find large supermarkets in Torrox Costa, approx. 16 km away. The closest beach to your apartment also is in Torrox Costa and here you will find restaurants and beach bars. You can get to the beach on the downhill road that connects Cómpeta with Torrox Costa. A little further there are the cosy beach resort towns of Nerja and Herradura with gorgeous bays and beaches. This part of the Costa del Sol is different to the more densely populated part of the coast south of Málaga where the tourist crowds go.
The region north of Málaga (including Cómpeta) has preserved its authentic white villages and beach resorts towns. On the beaches, you can still see fishermen mending their nets in the traditional way and watch the colourful boats go out to sea to catch some fish. If you like diving, this is the right place for you. There are several diving schools in Nerja (Burriana Beach) and in Herredura. Further inland, nearer your holiday home, you can go horseback riding, cycling/mountain biking, walking and (mountain) hiking. You can also rent a jeep and go on a day trip exploring the stunning mountains. Golfers will appreciate the nearby Baviera Golf club. This 18 hole golf course is located in Caleta de Valez (a 25 minute car drive away). And after you have finished 18 holes of golf you can treat yourself to a nice meal in the golf club’s restaurant.
