Holiday house with a terrace and a boat pier, by the beach

The house is in the little village of Klek, by a natural bay and a beautiful beach in the Dubrovnik region.

The old town is above, offering a breathtaking view over the bay and the surrounding islands such as Pelješac. It is a 50-minute walk along a narrow path. Dubrovnik airport is two hours away. Surrounding towns are Dubrovnik, Korcula 70km, Ston 40km, Medjugorje 35km and Mostar 45km. Trip possibilities in the region include sailing trips with the Lipa Moja to Mali Ston and Ston, a photo safari on the Neretva river, riding in Mogorjelo, rafting on Cetina River and canoeing on the Krupa. You can also ski near Sarajevo, 2.5 hours away.

The house can accommodate six people and has three bedrooms with double beds. The kitchen is fully-equipped with all the necessary cooking utensils. The spacious living room has satellite TV and a dining area. There are two bedrooms. Air conditioning is available in the living room, also cooling the two neighbouring bedrooms. You can enjoy the view and grilling on the terrace with a table and chairs. A boat mooring is available. You can also hire a small boat if you have the appropriate boat licence. A kayak is available for use free of charge. The site is surrounded by Mediterranean vegetation, with oleander, lemon and olive trees, pines and various herbs.

    “Rundum war es ein wirklich gelungener Urlaub,wir fühlten uns sehr wohl und Klek ist ein wirklich schöner Ort der zum Verweilen einlädt und jeden richtig entschleunigt. Positiv: Die Wohnung ist sehr nah am Meer, die Vermieter sind super freundlich und alles ist Recht modern eingerichtet. Negativ: Es gab wirklich nichts auszusetzen und wir buchen direkt wieder für nächstes Jahr Restaurant: Konoba Klek - Eine kleine Konoba in Klek, das Essen ist frisch zu und die Bedienung spricht sehr gut Englisch. Ausflüge: Smrden Grad - Eine kleine Kapelle in den Bergen von Klek, unbeschreibliche Aussicht nach Bosnien Herzegowina, auf die Pelisak Brücke und über Klek. Man kann es nicht beschreiben nur sehen.”

    “Dieser Urlaub wird lang in unserem Gedächtnis bleiben. Schon der Empfang durch Svebor, den Besitzer des Hauses, war einfach klasse. Wir wurden mit Schinken, Käse, Oliven, Brot, Salate, Wein und Schnaps empfangen. Während unseres Urlaubes hat er uns 2 Mal mit seinem Boot mit aufs Meer genommen und uns die Region gezeigt. Des weiteren konnten wir mit allem zu ihm kommen und er hat uns alles erklärt. Dafür nochmal recht herzlichen Dank. Das Haus liegt direkt am Meer ist sehr geräumig, einfach, aber zweckmäßig ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Wir werden dieses Haus auch im nächsten Jahr wieder besuchen.”
