Villa Esmeralda for 12 people, close to the beach and centre

Esmeralda is a large villa for 12 people that enjoys a great location as is set only 250m. away to the pretty sandy cove Cala Esmeralda and 600m. away to sandy cove Cala Gran. Cala D’Or centre is approx. 700m, it offers a pedestrian area with a wide variety of restaurants, cafeterias, bars with live music, shops and boutiques.

Esmeralda is a villa arranged in two floors.

From the hall we reach the open living/dining room with open kitchen, with a side door to the pool and barbecue area. In this area there is a table with wine cooler. The ground floor has three twin bedrooms -with two twin beds together- and ensuite shower rooms. All the bedrooms has access to the exterior.
From the garden external stair leads to the upper floor where we find three bedrooms. The master bedroom -two single beds pushed together-, very spacious, with an open integrated bathroom. Enjoys partial views of the sea from the circular area where the bathtub is located. The other two bedrooms, also with two single beds pushed together, have ensuite shower-room.

The house offers air conditioning with a fixed and limited timetable.

There is a lawned garden at the front with a drive way to park two cars. The pool area is at the back of the villa. Outside close to the kitchen and by the pool there is a covered outside dining area to enjoy “al fresco” meals. There are two portatble babecues. A Weber barbecue available and also a gas barbecue. At the other end of the pool there is a chill-out area; the perfect spot to relax. Utility room with washing machine.

On the roof terrace, there is a further chill-out area with sea views.
Children must be supervised by their parents.

    “Rigtig dejlig og flot bolig med en god beliggenhed. Flot udsigt fra roof, tæt til strand, god pool og dejlig med 6 værelser og 4 badeværelser.”

    “Het is een mooi groot huis met een heerlijk zwembad erbij.het huis is zo als het afgebeeld is als op het internet. Er Zijn wel een Aantal minpunten wat verbeterd kan worden !
    Zo was er op ons bed geen molton en een dun versleten matras overtrek .het bed rook maar zweet.
    Er was ook een slaapkamer wat erg vochtig was . En een slaapkamer met schimmel op de muur van vochtigheid .tweede verdieping heeft daar geen last van.badkamer beneden ook erg vochtig douche put helemaal verstopt van de viezigheid en de deuren van badkamer zijn niet schoon .Ook een bed heeft een heel slecht matras daar voel je de veren in je rug .
    Keuken was prima servies was schoon alleen magnetron en oven erg vies.
    Voor de rest was het een heerlijk huis met veel ruimte.”

    “Positivt: Bra pool. Skyddat poolområde. Bra barbeque-grill. Utvändig matplats under stråtak. Nära till badvik. Lugnt område.

    Mycket negativt: Vid ankomsten kl 16 (då huset skulle vara tillgängligt) var huset inte städat, fullt med smutstvätt, inget bortplockat från tidigare gäster, ingen städpersonal. Efter flera telefonsamtal kom personal så att vi fick tillgång till huset efter 3 timmars väntan. Ingen bra start på semestern.

    Negativt: Slitet och delvis smutsigt inomhus. Begränsat/litet område runt pool. Litet kök ger små möjligheter att laga mat till 8-12 personer. Relativt långt till restauranger, speciellt för barn. Långt till större mataffär. Varmt inomhus trots stängda dörrar och fönster p.g.a. otillräcklig AC.     “Ferieboligen har en god beliggenhed tæt ved by og strand. Boligen fremstår lidt slidt og trænger til reparationer af fugt skader mm. Alt bestik og service var beskidt ved ankomsten og det er ikke tilfredsstillende når man kommer og skal holde ferie. Må gerne fremgå af beskrivelsen, at det faktisk er 2 boliger, eller nærmest en lejlighed ovenpå der ikke er forbundne, og man skal helt ud af den øverste etage for at komme nedenunder. Vi har haft en dejlig ferie men havde nok lidt større forventninger til ferieboligen.” “Ferieboligen har en god beliggenhed tæt ved by og strand.     “Ausstattung sehr umfangreich; alles, was man brauchte, war vorhanden;
    wünschenswert wäre eine Erstausstattung mit den nötigsten Lebensmittel gewesen, insbesondere bei später Anreise;
    angenehm ruhige Lage, aber trotzdem zentral gelegen;
    Sauberkeit gerade noch ausreichend (während des einwöchigen Aufenthaltes lediglich ein schneller Handtuchwechsel; dabei waren die Handtücher feucht und teilweise verschmutzt; Geschirr in der Küche war teilweise nicht gespült; ein Schlafzimmer und die Schränke im EG Rochen muffig);
    der Zustand des Hauses war aus unserer Sicht renovierungsbedürftig (z.B. Sitzlounge auf der Dachterasse war kaputt; die Liegen am Pool waren ausgeleiert; die Abflüsse der Duschen (insbesondere im 1. OG) war verstopf; Türklinken in den Badezimmern sollten neu eingestellt werden, da sie nicht verschließbar waren);
    der Außenbereich am Pool ist für 12 Personen zu klein;”
