Holiday Apartment in Gordes with Outdoor Pool

This very pretty ground-floor apartment with a private terrace is in a charming stone house in a residence in Gordes, an eight-minute walk from the centre. The residence can only be entered with an access code. The mountain village Gordes is classified as “one of the most beautiful villages in France” and has preserved its charm and character over the centuries.



The 48m² apartment is suitable for five people. You will no doubt sleep well in the two comfortable bedrooms with a double bed and a wardrobe. There is a sofa bed in the living room for a fifth person, along with a cosy dining space and an open and fully-equipped kitchen, including a dishwasher, so that nobody has to do the washing up on holiday. The bathroom has a shower. The WC is separate. The apartment hasa free wireless Internet connection.



Your apartment is not far from the pool, amidst a well-tended, three-hectare residence park site with typical Provençal vegetation. The living room provides direct access to the private shady terrace. The large, secure outdoor pool invites you to cool off on hot days. You can sunbathe on the loungers, with a view of the mountains to round it all off. All ages can have fun playing table tennis. There is a free parking space. There is also a little stone house on site with a washing machine and dryer.



It is just an eight-minute walk to the centre of Gordes, which has the advantage that you do not need a car for every shopping trip, visit to a restaurant or to go out in the evening. Let yourself be greeted by the fragrance of thyme, rosemary and lavender or the chirping of crickets.

    “Sehr freundliche, unkomplizierte Gastgeber, die schon vor der Anreise viele hilfreiche Tipps z. B. zu Restaurants und Ausflügen geben. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und vor allem in der Küche außergewöhnlich gut mit allen wichtigen Utensilien ausgestattet. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Die Anlage ist nur wenige Gehminuten von Gordes entfernt und schön gestaltet.”

    “Wij hebben in Bastidon 31 gezeten, het appartement van Emmanuel en Anna. Vooraf kregen we een leuke mail met meer informatie. Bij aankomst werden we door hun ontvangen en hebben we een rondleiding gekregen. Ook hebben we een flesje wijn uit de regio gekregen. Super ontvangst dus! Domaine Les Bastidons heeft een super goede en mooie ligging op zo'n 10 minuutjes lopen van het centrum van Gordes. 's Ochtends kun je dus heerlijk verse baquettes en croissants halen! Een grotere supermarkt ligt in Coustellet (Super U), op 15 minuutjes rijden. In de omgeving zijn erg mooie plaatsjes te vinden en ook Abbaye de Senanque (hét bekende plaatje van de Provence) ligt op maar 10 minuutjes! De appartementen liggen in een soort vakantieparkje, toegankelijk via een hek met een code. Ons appartement was meer dan prima (en ik denk gerenoveerd?) met een eigen tuintje met eettafel, stoelen en ligbedden. Alles was schoon en zelfs nog een aantal (overgebleven van vorige bezoekers/eigenaren) kruiden, vuilniszakken, wc papier etc. in de kast; handig! Overdag was het zwembad erg rustig, tegen een uur of 3 a 4 uur werd het wat drukker. Het water is erg koud, maar heerlijk als je even wilt afkoelen met 35 graden! Verder is er nog een wasruimte met 2 wasmachines waar je voor 1 euro (40 graden) of 2 euro (60 graden) gebruik van kunt maken. Op de dag voor vertrek kwam een vriendin (Christine) van Emmanuel en Anna langs om te kijken of alles naar wens was geweest en om onze borg terug te geven. Wel wat lastig communiceren: ze sprak alleen Frans. Buiten dat, fijn om nog iemand te zien voor ons vertrek. Al met al een echte aanrader om de mooie omgeving van de Vaucluse te ontdekken!”
